Past Responsibilities at MSU

TEACHING: Teaching and course development in undergraduate courses covering packaging dynamics, machinery, robotics, materials and systems. Graduate course teaching and developing in dynamics and packaging systems.

RESEARCH: Proposal and budget preparation for projects related to product protection, cushion design, environmental measurement of dynamic forces and simulation, packaging machinery and systems interaction, high speed motion analysis and robotics. Management of shock and vibration testing laboratory. Planning and management of various jointly industry funded research projects in Distribution Packaging.

INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS: Teaching overseas packaging courses. Provide technical guidance and consultancy in international packaging operations of various companies, universities and institutes.

Dr. Singh has served as a consultant to over a thousand domestic and international companies. Projects include developing packaging line systems, package design for product protection, evaluate package specifications, automation for packaging, expert witness, packaging forensics, and education.
